Youth Programs

 
Extreme Hockey Skills
This course develops balance, strength, and proper skating technique to improve your acceleration forwards, backwards, x-overs, and stopping skills. Also, begin to master the proper techniques for developing your power, accuracy, and control of your wrist shots, snap shots, backhands, & passing. This fun program will be for those players of the younger age or lesser skill level. This is not a begin to skate program but more focused on those players who need more practice time to excel. A scrimmage will always end each session. Register
 
Extreme Skating, Shooting & Scoring
This fundamental course will focus on 3 important skills in our small group atmosphere for better learning.
1.) Skating: Emphasis to develop balance, strength, and proper skating technique for forward stride, forward cross-overs, backward stride & backward cross-overs. 1hr each day
2.) Shooting: Master the proper techniques for developing power, accuracy, and control of your shot. The focus will be on wrist shots, snap shots, backhands, & slap shots.
3.) Scoring: How to score goals begins with the fundamentals of proper shooting techniques. You will progress to skating and shooting, one timers, and deking to learn how to score more goals. Register
 
Extreme Acceleration & Scoring
This powerful course focuses on balance, acceleration, speed, quickness, and agility using our innovative bungee cord training system. Players will be pushed to their limits to increase their forward quickness.

Also, our small group atmosphere allows the player to concentrate and learn proper techniques for shooting, stick handling, passing, and puck protection to get to the net for a better position to score. In addition, this course focuses on offensive tactics such as one timers, deflections, rebound control and better ideas to score goals.

Each day includes a scrimmage for a complete developmental experience reviewing exercises learned that session. Register
 
Extreme Defence
This intense course focuses on balance for backward acceleration, quick feet, pivoting, agility, speed, and crossovers for defensemen.

Also, our small group atmosphere allows the player to concentrate and learn proper techniques to body checking and body angling amid 1on1 situations. In addition, this course focuses on proper shooting techniques, passing for breakouts, and stickhandling to initiate an offensive rush.

Each day includes a scrimmage for a complete developmental experience reviewing exercises learned that session. Register
 
Extreme Hockey Strategies Program
This dynamic course is an active skating, passing, and shooting program. If you want to become an effective tactical player to improve your hockey strategies and understanding of the game then this is for you!

Our focus will be to teach the different breakout and transition strategies used in a hockey game. Learn how to correctly time your skating to stretch the ice and support the puck carrier. Players will learn when to skate to the opening, give and receive passes with confidence, and how to play intelligent hockey.

Each day consist of 2hrs on ice that includes a controlled scrimmage for a complete developmental experience reviewing exercises learned that session. Register
 
Goalie Training by Moe
This intense course focuses on the following for goalies to improve their skills through a quality program, repetition, and a fun atmosphere to learn and develop in.
1. Proper positioning for playing angles
2. Proper stance + glove positioning
3. Proper closing the gap between yourself & the shooter
4. Proper Recovery Techniques
5. Proper Rebound control
6. Pivot quicker and properly
7. C-cuts, T-push, Shuffle
8. Developing better foot speed
9. Improving overall reaction time
10. Improve verbal communication skills on the ice.
When part of Pucks Unlimited, Zone III will be dedicated for goalie instruction. Register
 
Puck Stopper Plus
This program runs in conjunction with our player camps. Goalies will join players in the dryland training and power skating component of the camp and then become puck stoppers for the individual skill portion of the on ice session. There will be no goalie instruction for the puck stopping portion of the program. Register
 
Explosive Power Skating I, II, III
Part I: Our new and innovative bungee cord training will focus on developing maximum power, speed, and acceleration into your stride. Balance is needed to optimize your skating technique and from our innovative exercises and expertise in teaching, you will gain more confidence with using your edges.

Part II: Still focusing on skating but also the exercises will include pucks to improve and strengthen puck-handling skills.

Part III: Still focusing on skating but also these exercises will complete the developmental experience by not only stregthening puck-handling skills but also shooting and scoring tactics. Register
 
Pucks Unlimited
Pucks Unlimited is the program to Master the proper techniques for developing power, accuracy, and control of your shot. Develop proper stick handling skills to add strength and co-ordination for quick releases, one-timers, and a hard shot every time. In addition, learn to master the strategies and techniques to control and win face-offs versus your opponent majority of the time. Each class is a 30 minute lesson + an extra 30 minutes of practice time.
The rink will be divided into 3 zones.

Zone I: Instruction: Part of the rink will be dedicated for instruction to learn and improve your power and shooting accuracy.

Zone II: Practice area. There will be weighted pucks, accuracy targets, stick handling obstablces to step up your game. You will have the tools to help develop more puck confidence.

Zone III: Goalie Training. There will be a part of the rink devoted for goalie training. Register
 
Elite Tailored Semi-Private
Tailored semi-private lessons will allow you to focus on developing skills that are important to you. Working with your instructor, we will developing a plan to strengthen weak areas of your game such as skating, shooting, puck handling, body body checking or whatever. In addition, we will help identify areas of your offensive and defensive game that need improvement so you can become a better hockey player. Register
 
Principles of Body Contact & Checking I & II
This course focuses on the protection and principles of body contact and body checking. Players will learn to battle along the boards safely and confidently while protecting themselves from potential injury. Level I will focus on the initial stages of giving & receiving body contact along the boards (i.e. angling skills, proper stance, head up, safey measures). Level II will review safe body contact and then impliment body contact and checking at a higher speed and in a game situation with a focus on the proper timing of angling & checking opponents. A complete developmental experience ends with a 15-minute scrimmage for reviewing learned body contact exercises. Register
 
Off-Ice Summer Power Training
I have had the opportunity to work with many players from around the world. This program is designed for general conditioning by means of building a solid strength foundation and cardiovascular base. You will be training 6 days/week with only one day off and over a 4-month period. The Strength training will focus mainly on using your own body weight thereby incorporating a natural overload principal. This will help to enhance balance and co-ordination of the body. The cardiovascular component will focus on two aspects; the first will be to help increase one's overall endurance and second will be to lead to a faster recovery time. This is a very intense program geared towards hockey players and is only intended for hockey players who are committed and disciplined to follow through. Register
 
Maximum Intensity Tryout Prep Camp
The scheduled tryouts may not be for another month but teams are looking now! Prepare to be your Best! Power skating, puck control, shooting, passing and receiving, body contact, high intensity flow drills plus a scrimmage to get ready for tryouts. Unique and different drills every class focusing on offensive and defensive tactics to mentally and physically train you to be your best. Register
 
Team Summer Camp
Why not have your whole team attend the same camp for a better price than they could find individually....build team chemistry before the season starts! This is a high intensity conditioning camp that will get your players in shape and ready for the upcoming season. Focus will be on individual skill development including goalies. A complete developmental experience ends with a 60-minute game on Friday. Each day consist of 2hrs on ice plus for added value, a specialized dryland program designed to increase speed and strength for all players. Call for complete details. Register
